Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Tuesday (January 17) conducted balloting for 411 plots to award plots to the residents of Sarai Khurbuza, Sara-e-Madhu in Sector C, and Sangjani, news sources reported.
The landowners whose property was purchased by CDA for the construction of Sectors C-14, C-15, and C-16 received ownership rights through the ballot. The authority has granted land ownership to 33 plots in Sector C-14, 242 plots in C-15, and 136 plots in C-16, according to the sources. Software created by the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) was used to conduct the voting.
It is significant to keep in mind that the CDA's plan to enlarge and modernise the city includes the construction of Sectors C-14, C-15, and C-16. For many years, the authority has been trying to acquire land and provide compensation to those who may be harmed by the development. The most recent election represents a significant advancement in the city's ongoing process of growth and improvement.
