As per the news shared by media resources on April 1st, 2022, the executive committee Of the Lahore Development Authority LDA authorized the Standard Operating Procedures for property dealers and real estate agents of every LDA registered schemes on Thursday 31st March, 2022. All property dealers will be required to register with the LDA under the SOPs intending to protect from illegal and deceitful activities within the jurisdiction of authority.
According to reports, at a meeting of the executive committee conduct in LDA Johar Town and presided over by Vice Chairman, it was figured to improve the LDA's digital infrastructure intended to provide better services to locals. Aside from that, the following decisions were made:
- The LDA Joint Venture (JV) Regulations Act 2022 has been approved.
- The LDA's digitization and automation has been approved also.
- The LDA Plot Auction Committee will be reconstituted, with the associates of the governing body on the committee.
- The meeting figured out that the master plan 2050 would be rolled over to the inspection committee and re-submitted to the governing body later public notice.
The meeting was attended by the Vice-Chairman, the MPA, the DG of Headquarters and Housing, and the Chief Metropolitan Planner.
