This document simply approves that the property is being constructed based on the framework structured by the authorities and all the project conditions and deadlines are being met.

Procedure of Verification
The government has made the process easy for dealing with buying and selling of properties by providing an online facility for checking the ownership rights in Pakistan. You can use the official pages by the government of Punjab and Sindh for this purpose. You can also use the land records management information system (LRMIS) online for Punjab to verify the property rights. All you need to do is log on to the site, pick your area and enter your CNIC number. That’s about it!
When you are verifying the property ownership rights for private societies, you must visit personally to the office of private society and verify the ownership of the property and dues. The seller must provided you a no objection certificate (NOC) from the concerned society. You may also consider using the online private housing schemes websites for this purpose. You may also consider the agents that deal in these areas for additional guidance.
It is also important to mention that both Punjab and Sindh do have the online verification portals whereas the other provinces don’t and you will have to visit the authorities to get more knowledge of the ownership rights.Refrain from any hasty decision and make sure that the property is being sold by the legal owner to ensure a seamless transaction.
